Days Inn Canton Ohio

Today, my friends (at least some of you are) (friends I mean), we take a look at something a bit different, though still in the service field and not much away from the restaurant tours I usually Take you on. (I know that wasn't grammatically correct, but too fucking bad.) Four of us decided to go to Canton to see the Jeff Dunham comedy show, he's good but I would advise you not to watch any of his specials first as it is much too predictable when you've seen the shtick. Anyway, due to the fact that we figured it to be a late evening, we decided to stay the night in the city. This small motel was on Convenience Street (I think it was Street) on the south side of the Belden Village Mall.

My first impression of the place was borne out countless times throughout the night an morning, but I am getting ahead of myself. We arrived and drove around the building looking for an entrance. The lobby sign was over the very non-descript door, about maybe 6 inches by 12 inches, but nothing looked like any lobby you have ever seen. Just one single door without a glass wall. In short it was not very inviting, in fact it seemed somewhat backward, oops, we were in Canton afterall.

Suffice it to say, this place was not somewhere I would even deem a one star place. There was mold around the tub and many small holes in the walls along with bottle caps on the floor. I really don't want, or need, to write more. If you have to stay in Canton, either insist you inspect the room first, or, better yet, go somewhere else.
