Let's talk about Popeye's Chicken

Popeye's  is a staple in many areas but not here in Cleveland. It touts a Louisiana based cuisine that has little competition in other places. My son and I went to the one in East Cleveland...I must say, the chicken was excellent and the biscuits...holy shit!!!! They were like butter, and I do not eat those things any more, but he thought I should try them. Way to go EC.
Look down the road to Euclid. Ouch, what a difference. This place was the opposite. While East Cleveland was friendly and helpful, the Euclid store was bitchy and uncommunicative. When we asked for an extra few minutes to decide, the nasty clerk just left without saying a word. When we were ready, a short time later, it took her five minutes to finally come back. We asked about spicy and she acted as though we were speaking some kind of extra terrestrial language. She just continued to be a rude as she could be throughout the entire transaction. If we were not set on red beans and rice, which I love but do not eat often, we would have left early on.

The rice was quite good as it always is, but those biscuits were like rocks and lacked any type of flavor. I think it might be time for someone to go around and tell these corporate entities that they should begin to actually cater to their customers rather than to themselves for profit.

I am dismayed at the lack of intelligent, or even dingy decent, service there is in this United States. The consumer is supposed to be king, BUT corporations have taken everything away and made us into they very minions. How dare we let such things happen. Take back your rights consumers, damn.
