Mick's (Irish) Pub in Willoughby, OH
We had the wonderful; experience of eating at Mick's pub on Sunday April 30, 2006. Our server, and bartender, was very attentive at first and did his best when a large party entered without prior notice. We had a pulled pork sandwich, which was served on garlic bread, nice touch! That was a bit too smoky for my tastes but was still good with a sweetness many adore. There was also the Club which was quite different having corned beef rather than ham. The corned beef could have been slightly less fatty, thereby being more tender, but all in all the value was great. They even had deep fried Reuben balls consisting of sauerkraut, Swiss and corned beef. Interesting. Both my companion and I had to take food home as it was too much for one sitting. Bravo guys. Quite a bit of food for less than $22.00.
They also have a Sunday Hot Dog day with about 15 different styles of dog. We will let you know what we think once we get the chance to return.
