Wendy's in Mentor on the Lake, Ohio

What can I tell you??? The fast food world gets worse and worse every day due to lack of professionality, not that I really expect much. The days of kids working toward something and doing as told must be gone.

On Saturday evening, May 24th, 2008, I went to the above mentioned fast food establishment at approximately 10:30pm. When I pulled up the the drive-thru ordering area, I asked for a Chicken Club and a #1 (the number one at this particular store is a single meal) with no pickle, tomato or mustard. I also asked for two of the new strawberry milkshakes. Mind you went to the Burger King right next door first but at that time they said their milkshake machine was down for the night. The female at the window asked again, "So, that's two sandwiches and one milkshake?" I told her that was not the case. I asked for two milkshakes two sandwiches AND an order of fries (which I always thought actually came with the value meal???) Can you guess what happened? Well, of course you can.

I got to the second window, after paying (and you know they never tell you to move up to the next window. They ASSume you already know what to do, well, I don't always remember and therefore feel a little stupid sitting there.) and was handed the two shakes and a very small bag.
There was only one sandwich in it, the club. I had to knock on the window to get the attention of the female, blond, thin with black clothing, she came back and noticed I was to get another sandwich. I said to her, "AND fries, too." She moved away and came back WITHOUT the fries. I told her I needed one order to which she replied that I did not order them. At this point I was quite annoyed. I had asked specifically three times now to be sure I got my fries but now I was being told I never even ordered them. How can one spend over $11.00 on two shakes and two sandwiches?? You know, I never even got a receipt after that. The female finally agreed to get me an order of fries but not without show definite attitude.

When I got home and opened my burger, insult was added to injury as my burger had on it tomato, mustard and pickles.
