As I have explained before, I do inspections for many of the national mortgage companies in the US through a type of clearinghouse. I am most often sub-contracted then the one to actually complete the physical inspection. In general these are not difficult, but that is not what is important. The most trying portion of doing an on-site physical inspection is the personality factor. Most people, in my estimation are genuinely decent. Some, though, are impossible to please. These people are nothing more than the earth’s misery wrapped into themselves. I, for one, couldn’t even imagine being around one of these people for more than about, wait, I take that back even before the thought is complete, never.
The worst people, I have found, are not the owners of multi-unit, or company, corporations, in fact most of those people are quite accommodating. The underlings of those large companies are the ones with attitude. Some of the attitude is so outrageous it makes a person of genial temperament actually chuckle, which I did. WOAH!!! That was the wrong move. You would have thought I told the bitch she looked like someone’s ass ( she certainley did sound like one though with her braying). But, Nooooo! All I did was state a fact: Usually when I call for an appointment, I can find everything I need within that one call. This time I had to call two different people, the second of which had to call yet another, then wait for a fax on a line that is not a dedicated fax line.
I told the woman to whom I had spoken, “I can usually get this done in one call.” She stated, “Then maybe you should be in a different line of business.” To which I asked her why she would say something like that. She said that some who would constantly complain about his job should find a different one. I made no complaint to her. I only stated a fact, with a chuckle.
I even called the company that contracted me and they also said she was a “beastly woman.” Why would a company such as Inland Mid-Atlantic Management want a woman with such an awful demeanor to have anything to do with their company. Unless she is an owner or has something on someone, I would suggest she be retired, at least. In truth, I would fire her ass on the spot. The name is Gale out of Illinois but I cannot go any further than that.
Lady, give yourself a break. No matter how important you THINK you are, you too will have the same fate we all have. Always remember KARMA. One day your bitchiness will come back to haunt you. I hope you have made amends before that happens.
