New Town Tavern Mentor, Ohio

Lunch at the New Town Tavern on Lakeshore Boulevard in Mentor, Ohio on Saturday, June 17, 2006 was a joy. Our server, Laurie, was fun and just attentive enough without being overbearing. She was also one of the most efficient servers I have ever had the pleasure of having waited my table. Along with our table, outside on the patio, she had at least two others AND was tending bar inside. BUT she still did not miss a beat and did not act nor look in the least bit flustered. While the food, in my opinion, was mediocre it was presented in an appetizing manner and at the table within the optimum amount of time. I had a quesadilla with chicken while my companions had burgers. We were all happy with our experience due to the server and left fully sated. We all agreed we would go back again if for nothing more than to FINALLY have a server who knows her shit. Good job Laurie and the New Town.
