Archway Peanut Butter Creme Cookies
I have just got to tell you all this one. I finally understand why it is some of us seem so sue happy. I know how ridiculous this will sound, because after thinking about it for a while it seemed that way to me, but some of you will also understand how annoying things get.
I was opening a bag of cookies the other day, they were Archway Peanut Butter Cremes, I do believe, when I found they did not want to open. You know what I'm talking about. The packages that seem to be sealed to ensure no one, child adult, Samson, can ever get in. I tried three times in different areas of the package before deciding I needed some help. I got out my kitchen scissors to cut a small section. After all, I did not want to harm any of those precious cookies. I then tried again to open the package. Often it just takes getting rid of some of the air, can you dig it? Well... It did not work this time. I am sure that, filmed, I would have looked hilarious, but at the time it was frustrating enough to get me actually pissed off.
After about two minutes of fighting with this package, I finally got it opened, BUT... That wasn't all. The package split only at a small portion of the end AND some of one of the cookies was broken. A small piece flew out of the bag and directly into my left eye. It took five minutes before I could get that damned piece of cookie out of my eye.
As soon as that happened, I immediately thought about how they should pay for my aggravation as well as my pain. Those damned cookie packagers were trying to be purposeful pains in my ass by making it so hard to open the pack that THEY injured my eye. Who needs the freaking cookie package sealed by super glue or something more. For God's sake, anyone with half a brain could look at a package to determine of it had been opened. You don't have to make it THAT hard to open yourself.
The worst part is that I really like those cookies and I now refuse to eat them on principal. Damn it!
There you go. That is my rant for today.
