Bob Evans on 306 in Mentor, Ohio

We all, actually15 of us, went to Bob Evans Restaurant on Route 306 in Mentor, Ohio on Sunday evening at about 6:30 PM. I have to say, although it goes against my usual feeling about the chain, that I was surprisingly pleased with my experience. Our server was very good and quite friendly without being overbearing. She forgot very little and was gracious about any mistake rather than upset. She followed the crowd and made appropriate and well placed jokes but stayed in her place as server not friend.
The food, which is why I rarely go to Bob Evans, was OK. I have never had food there that was better than OK and this time was no disappointment. Kudos to you_____ for your excellence in service. I wish you luck in all your endeavors. We are not an easy bunch and you handled it with aplomb.
