Michael Jackson

This is an open letter to every MORON who thinks it is right to make fun of a man who has just passed. It took less than two hours before some asshole sent me a "joke" by text. I do not find anything at all funny about the death of a man so young and troubled. Yes, he was eccentric and downright strange, BUT unless any of you were there to know exactly what he did or was going through, I find it in incredibly poor taste and, in fact, extremely bad Karma, to say anything. I do not profess to know more than anyone has heard in the media, but that is just it, "The Media." When will the general public begin to understand that the media is the great manipulator of our time? I am ashamed of humanity in more ways than I can count.

When I was kid, Michael was on the top of the world, and deservedly so. He was considered a genius. He was the biggest thing in the entire world. Fighting stopped and people got over their petty differences just to watch him perform. Lately, though, he became a caricature of himself due to conjecture. Leave the man alone, just like that old video said. In fact, "The Man in the Mirror," is what we should all be thinking of right about now.

Here's a thought... If anyone had a reason, or maybe thousands, to decide to fake his death, Michael Jackson did. Not Jim Morrison, or Elvis, or Tupac. They just had fame they couldn't handle (probably not Elvis on that point). Michael had fame, fortune, legal troubles, young children that have been pursued like so much game, and various family troubles, along with a world that lived to hate him in recent years. It is my sincere hope that he has found a way to outwit us all and has faked his untimely passing in order to find some semblance of normalcy, though with our technological world it would be difficult.

Godspeed Michael. I hope wherever you land it is better than where you were!!!!!!!!
