Trader Jack's in Eastlake, Ohio

Sunday, Sunday, Sunday. I guess that's to be the day we go to wherever we decide to go. This week, as you may have guessed due to the title, we went to Trader Jack's down by the river in Eastlake. The area is quite nice, or will be soon once the patio is opened. There are seats on or near the river and places for boat dockage as well as an indoor area.

I had a steak with "frizzled onions" and blue cheese topping. Even considering it wasn't a top cut of beef, it was very tasty and quite tender. I would order it again, but not from the server. This woman was so slow it was as if she were doing the butchering, cooking, and serving. One of our party decided to get a plethora of fried foods. We had calamari as an appetizer, and she had fried shrimp as well as fries. The oil must not have been hot enough because everything was absolutely dripping in grease. We could have rung it out and used it for alternative fuel in Willie Nelson's tour bus.

This will be the place to go once the weather breaks, which it is about to do, I hope. They need to work on their service but, barring that, let them try. Light a fire under the ass of the servers and things will be good. Also, kinda watch the temperature of the frying oil.
